Collaboration Is at the Center of Nutrition Secure Indy
Nutrition Secure Indy brings together organizations with different areas of expertise around one shared goal: building a more informed approach to nutrition security.
Nutrition security is a complex challenge, and no single organization brings every piece of the solution.
Nutrition Secure Indy was built around collaboration.
Coalition partners contribute different forms of expertise—from food access and community relationships to research, agriculture, health, and program support.
That shared structure allows the pilot to approach nutrition security from multiple perspectives while keeping participating families at the center of the work.
Partners including Elanco, Hatch, Purdue University, Gleaners, Mary Rigg Neighborhood Center, and others each contribute to different parts of the initiative.
The goal is not only to deliver a program, but to learn together.
As the pilot progresses, those partnerships will help provide context for what works, what can improve, and what lessons may be useful for other communities exploring similar approaches.
